So I just tried Elderflower cordial.

It's (Surprisingly) good. And it grows on you. Like super-mould on a petri dish. I can see myself becoming addicted to it very quickly.

So, was reading creationist literature the other day (Don't ask why) and came across a chapter named "The Australia Problem". Because we have a culture that has existed longer than 4004 years, and there's no way they could have got here. (Not to mention the animals, plants etc). The solution? "'God' placed everything thing here/ they're just making it up."

Yeah, so RL has been hectic, LJ has been a bitch and stuff has imploded.

Anyway, an update for those who care:
1.Torchwood. My god, this is such an awesome fandom. Seriously, awesome. A Dr who spin off that really earns it's MA15+ rating. Also: Rampant bisexuality. EVERYWHERE.

2.Merlin. Th Campiest version  ever. (Even a 10 yr old relation commented on the first episode that Merlin and Arthur acted like 'very stupid guys pretending to be girls trying to date each other. And the only word they speak of the other's language is stupid, but they think it means I Love you.'(exact quote there))

3.My laptop is dying. Slowly. its at the point where some keys don't work all the time, and it overheats easily.

4.A while ago, Brisbane flooded. My family and I were fine, but some friends of mine got flooded in. No major damage though.

5. It' s really, bloody cold here right now.

6.Please, could people stop trying to convert me! I really don't care why I should belive in one god or another, particularly one(s) who will 'Purge the world of imorality', aka are racist, homophobic, misogynistic and anti-sci-fi

Okay, for those of you who don't know, I have some Exciting News. Yes, the capitals are necessary.The anime series of FullMetal Alchemist is being reworked to be more like the manga. The first episode aired tonight. And, because I'm a lucky bastard, I was one of the few people in the entire english speaking world to have seen the first episode. That's right. I, and everyone in the theater at supanova tonight, saw the first episode of the new series at THE SAME TIME as people in japan. And Vic, the voice of Edward was there. And it was AWESOME!

BTW, madman are putting the new series up on their website a few days after it airs in japan. YAY

Why? Because of Koch. It's all his (?) fault. Him and his stupid, frustrating,annoyingly awesome snowflake.
For those of you who have no idea or care what-so-ever about what the fuck I'm rantingrambling about, just know that Koch is a Bastard. And his snowflake is too.
For hose of who who have no idea, but are interested, Koch's snowflake is a Math Thing. Which has a proper name I can't remember right now.And it is  this thing in the diagram.
The second one is koch's line, 3 of which make up the snowflake. As you can see, it Just. Keeps. Going.
Which makes it somewhat hard to find an expresion for the perimeter and area. And I did, spent a whole 3 HOURS writing paragraphs on how i as done, only to realise I didn't need the paragraph I'd written and could have just writen something else which is a whole lot simpler

Okay, so was talking with some relations today, and they said something that made me think.

They said something about something not being that far to drive, maybe only 2 hrs or so. Is it only in australia that we consider distances of less than 8 hrs driving 'not that far?' I know looking at a map of england at the same scale as one of australia you either see all of australia and england is a tinyish blot or you see all of england and a small amount of australia, so what's it like in other places?
